This work is about the annuals, biennials, perennials, and bulbs that we plant in our gardens and bring into our homes.  They provide colour, scent, and beauty. Often these plants remind us of  a person, place, or event that has been meaningful in our lives.   As an artist,  not only am I moved by their beauty, I see the phases of our life cycle mirrored in these fragile cultivars.  In each phase, I see hope, resilience, and grace.
